Ephesians 4:32

26 May 2009 By Peter Young | TinyURL TM

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4 : 32, New International Version)

This verse gives us two irrefutable reasons why we must forgive those who sin against and hurt us. Firstly, we must always display God’s love, which leaves no room for bitterness or vengeance. Secondly, because of the death of Jesus Christ for our sins, God has forgiven us – therefore we have no option but to forgive each other.
