For the next 5 studies, we shall be considering attributes of God which are closely connected with his majesty.

a) Majestic Name
8:1 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.
b) Majestic Voice
29:4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.
c) More Majestic than Mountains
76:4 You are resplendent with light, more majestic than mountains rich with game.
d) Robed in Majesty
93:1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength.
e) Majestic Deeds
111:2-3 Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. v3Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever.
f) Splendour and Majesty
i) 96:5-6 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. v6Splendour and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.
ii) 104:1 O Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendour and majesty.
iii) 145:4-5 One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. v5They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.

The point of what we are saying is this: we do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, v2and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.
