1. GOD’S GLORY DESCRIBED
a) Power and Glory
63:2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and glory.
b) God’s Name
79:9 Help us, O God our Saviour, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.
c) Strength and Glory
96:6 Splendour and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.

a) God Bestows Glory
3:3 But you are a shield around me, O Lord; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.

8:1 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. You have set your glory above the heavens.
c) The Heavens Declare God’s Glory
19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
d) The King of Glory
24:9-10 Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. v10Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty – he is the King of glory.
