49. GOD’S CREATION (1)

1. GOD’S CREATION

a) What is Man?
8:3-4 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, v4what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

b) The Glory of God
19:1-2 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. v2Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.

c) By The Word Of The Lord
33:6-7 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. v7He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses.

d) The World Is Established
93:1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.

e) The Stars
147:4 He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.

2. GOD’S CREATION BELONGS TO GOD

a) The World
24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;

b) Every Animal
50:9-12 I have no need of a bull from your stall or of goats from your pens, v10for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. v11I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine. v12If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.

c) The Heavens And the Earth
89:11-12 The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it. v12You created the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name.

d) In His Hand
95:4-5 In his hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. v5The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
