The Creation Mandate is God’s commission to the human race to build a global civilization that embodies His kingdom (governance). Thus the seven spheres of culture are to manifest God’s will for each of them, but Satan has captured them and made them his mountains.
The 7 mountains of culture:
- Government & Politics
- Media
- Business
- Arts & Entertainment
- Family
- Education
- Religion
But Christ has authorized His Church to reclaim these mountains. Today He positions each of us strategically on one of those mountains.
Will we use that position to work with others on that same mountain to help reclaim it or will we let this privilege of working with Him pass us by?

Dr. Leong is Research Coordinator of Malaysia Campus Crusade for Christ (MCCC). His research focuses on the application of the OT to contemporary thinking and living. He also serves as Adjunct Lecturer at the East Asia School of Theology, Singapore.
