AMNESIA – LOSS OF MEMORY

Sometimes, during the session of a court case or a Royal Commission, the person being questioned will answer: “I CANNOT REMEMBER” (This memory loss may be genuine or one of convenience!)

God, the Father of Jesus Christ, will never say, “I CANNOT REMEMBER”. But, praise the Lord, he does say “I WILL NOT REMEMBER”. ”I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” Isaiah 43:25. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” Hebrews 8:12.

Being in my eighties, there are times when my memory fails me, especially when someone, whom I have not seen for many years, approaches me and asks: “Do you remember me?” However our God who does not suffer from loss of memory, will never forget us. In his love he not only forgives us but he says to us “I WILL REMEMBER YOUR SINS NO MORE.”

not forgotten

I once chose to forget about Him, but He did not.
