TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR THE BARISAN NATIONAL

(TO ENSURE THAT THEY LOSE THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTIONS!)

  1. Retain the Internal Security Act
  2. Reject calls to repeal or amend the Official Secrets Act (OSA), the Printing Presses and Publications Act and the Universities and University College Act (UUCA) 1971
  3. Prevent the restoration to Article 121(1) of the Federal Constitution
  4. Appoint the wrong persons to serve on the Judicial Appointments Commission, the Corruption Prevention Advisory Board and the Parliamentary Committee on the Prevention of Corruption
  5. Postpone indefinitely the formation of an Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) Act
  6. Ensure that laws are not passed to allow the election of local councillors
  7. Withhold all government grants from all opposition states
  8. Forbid members of the Barisan National to accept invitations from the Pakatan Rakyat to serve on Committees/ Boards/ Agencies for the betterment of both state and nation
  9. Neglect the legitimate concerns of the citizens of East Malaysia
  10. Perpetuate the existence of political parties whose membership is restricted by race or religion
