The suitability of a Kuala Selangor District Councillor is being questioned because of his alleged drug dependency in 1991. If the allegation is true, and if the Councillor has been free from drugs for the past 17 years, it would seem that he might be an excellent choice. Through the Council, he would be able to advise those concerned about the prevention and rehabilitation of drug dependents. He would also be able to assist former drug dependents who face both family and employment problems.
