‘BN CAN PULL OFF UPSET VICTORY’

‘BN, which openly announced it was going in as the underdog, is now confident enough to say that the coalition may just pull off an upset victory.

Its deputy chairman, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, yesterday said the groundswell of support had tilted in favour of BN candidate Datuk Arif Shah Omar who is contesting against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“When we first started the campaign, people said the BN did not stand any chance of a victory.

However, after two weeks of effort, pleading and prayer, that support has tilted our way,” he said’ (New Straits Times)
